From March 17 to March 25, 2025, SMM statistics showed that domestic enterprises won 41 PV module projects. The winning bid price ranged from 0.7 to 0.83 yuan per watt. The weekly weighted average price was 0.7 yuan per watt, an increase of 0.01 yuan per watt compared to the previous week. The total procurement capacity of the winning bids was 1,361.59 MW, an increase of 888.38 MW compared to the previous week.
SMM reported on March 25: From March 17 to March 25, 2025, SMM statistics showed that domestic companies including Tongwei Co., Ltd., LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and DAS Solar Co., Ltd. won a total of 41 sections of PV module projects. Among them, 25 projects disclosed the installation capacity. The types of components procured this week included N-type and off-grid PV modules. The winning bid prices were concentrated in the range of 0.7-0.83 yuan/W. The weighted average price for the week was 0.7 yuan/W, an increase of 0.01 yuan/W compared to the previous week. The total procurement capacity of the winning bids was 1,361.59 MW, an increase of 888.38 MW compared to the previous week. The procurement capacity of N-type modules for the week was approximately 734.58 MW, accounting for 53.95%. Major winning bid information for the week: Guangxi Beitou Construction Investment Co., Ltd.'s distributed PV project, Liuzhou Liujiang District Rooftop Distributed PV Project (Phase II), and Qinzhou Qin Nan District Lingang Industrial Zone Distributed PV Project (Phase I) N-type monocrystalline silicon double-sided double-glass module procurement project, which planned to procure N-type PV modules with a total installation capacity of 21.03 MW and a power of 590 W. TrinaSolar Co., Ltd. won the bid at a price of 0.79 yuan/W. Guohua Investment's first batch of PV module equipment concentrated procurement open tender project in 2025, which planned to procure N-type PV modules with a total installation capacity of 586.24 MW and a power of 620 W. Tongwei Co., Ltd. won the bid at a price of 0.7 yuan/W. Weighted average price explanation: The winning bid prices were distributed in the range of 0.7-0.83 yuan/W, showing an upward trend. However, since the total installation capacity of the projects won by Tongwei Co., Ltd. accounted for the largest proportion among the projects with a clear average price, the weighted average price was more inclined towards this project, at 0.7 yuan/W.

[SMM PV News] Armenia Hits 1.1 GW Solar Capacity,
Armenia’s cumulative solar capacity has surged to 1.1 GW following the addition of approximately 615 MW in 2025. This rapid expansion has pushed solar's share of electricity generation to around 15%, effectively meeting the country's 2030 target years ahead of schedule. The growth is heavily driven by a net-metering scheme supporting over 50,000 autonomous producers (totaling 650 MW), though the government ended loan subsidies for rooftop solar in July to shift focus toward battery storage.
